A relaxed nature exploration club
At Kestrel’s nature club, we will explore the trails of Sally Milligan Park in Beverly. The focus will be on deep noticing of living things and our surroundings. We will practice observing and tracking wildlife, nature journaling, and general nature awareness. Each day, we will start with a big nature question and gather as much information as we can related to that question. Right before everyone goes home, we will share back what we’ve noticed, and talk about what our big nature question should be for the next week. Each participant will get a nature journal, and they can practice recording in the journal between nature club meetings.
Who:
Any child ages 5-10
Where: Meeting at Sally Milligan Park in Beverly
When: Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm October 6th to November 24th
